“The Power of Water” follows the story of Bob King, a New Hampshire entrepreneur whose life’s work has been rehabilitating old abandoned dams to produce clean energy. Along the way, the film explores the history of hydropower in New England, the ongoing transition away from dirty fossil energy, the importance of land conservation, and how we all can be part of the solution as we face these challenges together.

We will snowshoe around the trail! Hiking is our backup plan in the event that there isn't snow or too little to snowshoe. After snowshoeing or hiking, we will gather for some hot drinks to warm back up!

Bizarre and spectacular creatures hide in plain sight all around us because they are too small to see without magnification. In this class we will go on a micro-safari, hunting down these hidden microorganisms using microscopes and capturing them through observational drawing.
