Ecological Belonging: The Integrated Root Presentation

Monday, November 2
6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free | In-person at NBNC and Livestreamed
Registration required for in-person presentation

Join us for an evening presentation to kickoff Ecological Belonging, the Fall Visiting Teacher-Naturalist Series with Brooke Marie Bridges! What does it mean to truly belong to the Earth, not as visitors, but as an integral co-creative part of it? Grounded in the Mind-Body-Earth framework, Brooke will guide us through storytelling, somatic practice, and herbal wisdom to restore three dimensions of ecological belonging: clarity of mind (clearing the stories that separate us), trust in our bodies (as vessels of natural wisdom), and reciprocal relationship with Earth (as co-creators, not consumers). Together, we’ll engage in a tea ritual, practice grounded somatic work, and commit to concrete acts of restoration. This opening keynote sets the tone for the week: belonging is not something to achieve, it’s something to remember, restore, and share.

Part of Ecological Belonging, a free workshop series to reconnect with the land and find wellness in nature with Visiting-Teacher Naturalist Brooke Bridges. Visit our Visiting Teacher-Naturalist page to learn more and see the full series of workshops.
