Please join us for the grand opening of our new Universal Access Trail and even-newer Nature Connection Trail! We will gather at 11 am for a ribbon-cutting and refreshments, and then invite folks to explore at their own pace, with staff-led activities to enjoy along the way.

The Universal Access Trail: This new ADA-compliant trail was completed in August. Originating at the parking lot trailhead pavilion, this trail meanders around the meadows and Community Garden in a loop with beautiful views and excellent access to nature and wildlife watching.

The Nature Connection Trail: This installation of 8 interpretive panels spans the whole trail network and invites visitors to immerse in nature in fun and diverse ways. Featuring large watercolor paintings by Amy Hook-Therrian, the Nature Connection Trail adds beautiful artwork and engaging activities to the NBNC paths.
