LGBTQIA++ hikers will gather in Montpelier for a stroll along the North Branch of the Winooski River. This will be an easy outing at a birding pace. The trails are mostly flat and rolling, tucking under the trees of the mature floodplain forest and back out into the adjacent fields and wetlands, winding through a variety of habitats.Pride Hikes are a collaboration between Audubon Vermont, the Pride Center of Vermont, and Outright Vermont.  Pride Hikes have been happening every month since June of 2018 and go beyond being “welcoming to everyone” to creating a safe, affirming space for LGBTQIA++ community members.
