Join NBNC’s Director of Education, Ken Benton, for an evening of up close and personal listens and looks at springtime’s most impressive crepuscular performances. We’ll attempt to creep up on spring peepers by following an individual peep amid the cacophonous chorus and try to pinpoint the peenting of american woodcocks before they lift off to perform their skydance. This evening walk will take place right at dusk, so headlamps or flashlights are encouraged for lighting our path. Families are invited to stretch the bedtime hour and join us on this non-school night event.
Physical Requirements: This program takes place on wide dirt trails on mostly flat ground. The program will travel up to 1/2 mile.
