Birding at the Barre City Cow Pasture

May 20, 2023 @ 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM

Saturday May 20 | 7 – 9 AM | FREE
At the Barre City Cow Pasture (Directions)
Park at the end of Maplewood Avenue

A casual, Saturday morning birding outing at a local hidden-gem natural area, facilitated by NBNC staff. For all interests and experience levels. This outing is about enjoying, learning from, and spending time with wild birds. No binoculars? No ID guide? No problem! The only requirement is an appreciation of birds (though we do have binoculars for those who would like them).

Location: Barre City Cow Pasture (Directions) (More Info)
Distance and Terrain: This outing covers a 1.5-mile loop on dirt trails over moderately hilly and forested terrain. Please let us know ahead of the program how we can better accommodate your accessibility needs.
Visit our Birding Page for more NBNC birding programs this spring, including our regular May and early-June Friday morning outings.

Our Shared Commitment

Take care of yourself. Take care of others. Take care of the earth.
We strive to help people feel welcomed, oriented to the landscape, engaged, inspired, safe, and part of our community. We ask that our visitors and participants share this commitment while at North Branch Nature Center and during our programs. We expect that all who enter this shared space do so in the spirit of welcoming kindness, inclusivity, respect, and curiosity.
