Have you ever wondered what creatures roam the sidewalks of Montpelier after dark? Did you know that porcupine, otter, and fox are regular downtown visitors? This free, group tracking outing is your chance to explore the city in a new way by learning about animal tracks and sign. Participants can expect to travel at a leisurely pace with frequent stops to study tracks along the way. This program is intended for adults and families with older children who are interested in exploring our wild neighbors and their role in an urban setting. This outing is planned to intentionally follow plowed/paved areas such as the rec path and sidewalks, so participants should wear appropriate clothing for slush and puddles.
