Ginny’s love of nature began with her exploration of the woods behind her childhood home and stargazing with her dad. Ginny’s passion for the natural world led her to pursue a Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies from Clark University. An Americorps position brought her to Vermont in 2015 and where she first worked with school children offering garden education classes. After that, Ginny spent five years working in Orchard Valley Waldorf School’s Early Childhood programs. Her Waldorf experience opened her eyes to the foundational importance of early childhood, as well as the wonder, joy, and creativity that young children are so attuned to. She loves integrating her love of crafts, baking, and outdoor adventuring into her work with children. Ginny lives in Montpelier with her partner, cat, and two bunnies. She enjoys biking around town and snuggling up with a good book.
