News flash:

Jen Ellis-made original "Bernie-style" mittens -- never worn, brand-new with tags -- are being auctioned on eBay to benefit kids scholarships at NBNC!!
“I was on a walk in 10-degree weather with cold hands when the thought of auctioning the mittens that were in my closet, never used, occurred to me. Being out in nature is getting me through this pandemic. I want that for everyone,” said donor and NBNC board member Laura Fried. "I am so flattered that people want my mittens and I wish I could make them for everyone,” wrote Jen Ellis on the eBay auction site where two of the three pairs she made this weekend are being auctioned, and where Fried’s pair was listed. Bidding will close on February 5.
High fives to Laura, to Jen, to Bernie, to anyone who chooses to bid on these beautiful mittens or help spread the word, and to everyone for connecting with the natural world!
