April Break Camp 2024 (K-3rd grade)
North Branch Nature Center 713 Elm Street, Montpelier, VermontSpring is a great time to explore the Nature Center. Children grades K-3 are invited to join us for a week of spring nature adventures and explorations. We’ll make art using natural materials, explore the fields and forest for signs of wildlife, try our hands at wild edible cooking, and give back to the land in celebration of Earth Day.
Nature’s Rainbow Family Art Workshop
North Branch Nature Center 713 Elm Street, Montpelier, VermontMany mushrooms and lichens can be used to make paints! Learn a few paint-making processes for both plants and fungi, then make your own artwork with the colors. For ages 6 and up with a caregiver.
Backpacking in the Green Mountains: a Teen Adventure Camp
North Branch Nature Center 713 Elm Street, Montpelier, VermontIn this camp we will embark on a 5- day backpacking adventure in the Green Mountains of Vermont. We will carry all of the gear we need for our journey, making different camps our home along the way. Our days will be spent walking ridgelines, enjoying mountain vistas, and sharing stories, songs, and laughter, all while immersed in the rhythms of the natural world.
