For 6th-9th graders
Join us for a spring foraging and outdoor cooking adventure! We’ll start out on a foraging walk, learning safe practices and identification of common spring forageables, such as fiddleheads and ramps. With our collection of foraged goods, we’ll start a fire and learn how to cook our food over an open fire. We will share gratitude for the earth and enjoy our meal accompanied by the sunset calls of the American timberdoodle! Led by Annie Jackson and Naomi Cocker.
Participants should dress appropriately to spend an evening outdoors and come with hungry bellies.
