This creative chamber music performance features brand new music inspired by climate change and our local watershed, performed and composed by Vermont’s finest musicians. TURNmusic’s March 2026 Watershed/Environmental Programs will blend artistic expression with community engagement to raise awareness about local watershed health and environmental concerns through music, workshops, and collaborative events. This initiative aims to connect audiences with environmental themes, inspiring appreciation for the natural world while fostering creative responses to ecological challenges. By uniting musicians, educators, and environmental advocates, TURNmusic will create meaningful experiences that celebrate both culture and conservation in the Waterbury region in 2026. The concert program premieres music by Vermont composers Tom Cate, Colin McCaffrey, Elizabeth Reid, and Matt LaRocca.
About our Naturalist Journeys 2026 Winter Presentation Series: This season is about understanding how our watersheds function, how our rivers flow, and which actions move us towards—or away from—becoming a more resilient riverside community. The series runs December through March.
This project has been funded wholly or in part by the United States Environmental Protection Agency under assistance agreement (LC 00A01526-0) to NEIWPCC in partnership with the Lake Champlain Basin Program.
