Our full-day ECO Homeschool program provides a meaningful and fun learning environment based in environmental education and a mentorship model.
Afterschool at NBNC includes tracking, foraging, cooking over a fire, storytelling, cooperative games, and expeditions to the river and the forest. These adventures employ a model of playful experiential education where children learn by activating all of their senses and building a sense of belonging in a community of their peers.
Explore basic concepts in river dynamics to learn how to “read” our streams and interpret their behavior over time.
