Every fall, NBNC biologists contribute to a national research project to better understand the migration of the Northern Saw-whet Owl. This night we are opening up the banding station for high schoolers to experience the research first hand – we’ll even have pizza!

We’re hoping to build more programs like this for high schoolers. If you have ideas for great events, come ready to share them with our staff around the fire between visits to the banding station. Or just marvel at the tiny owls, ask questions of our research team, and enjoy some pizza.
