Photography for Naturalists Workshop
October 6 @ 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM$35
Become a better photographer by tuning into nature, and learn to harness your camera by becoming a better naturalist. In this morning workshop, we’ll blend photography techniques and naturalist skills to achieve a deeper connection with nature and capture great photographs. In this small group retreat led by NBNC staff naturalist and nature photography guide Sean Beckett, lessons and opportunities are customized to your interests and experience. Participants will leave with a powerful new approach to walking in the Vermont woods. The day includes:

– Field mini-workshops on photographic composition, camera technique, post-processing, macro photography, and other topics by interest.
– Photographic ecology “missions” combining natural history investigation with technical photography skills.
