Program for 9th-12th graders

Embark on some high adventure in our backyard with Ash and Ana Maria by tracking moose through some of the moosiest habitat in Central Vermont. We’ll depart from NBNC in the van, then hike or snowshoe up to moose habitat. Once we cross tracks, we’ll follow them and study what that individual animal was up to… perhaps even seeing a live moose! We’ll share a hearty snack out in the woods, then make our way back to Montpelier in the twilight.

Bring: warm clothes, backpack, water, headlamp. Eat lunch before or pack one for the van ride.
