The Forest School is an outdoor-based early education program for students aged 3.5 to 8 years old. The Forest School’s mission is to provide enriching learning experiences in nature. We are guided by the belief that children should spend a large portion of the day outside, use the natural environment as our classroom, engage students with “hands-on” experiential education, and celebrate and capitalize on the countless opportunities in the day to sing, dance, imagine, explore and play! Our program also uses place-based and play-based elements, emergent curriculum and inquiry-based learning.
