Chittenden County - Crossing Sites

**Please note that most of these sites have been contributed by previous participants of the Amphibian Monitoring Program and have not been verified by NBNC**
**Extreme caution should be used when approaching a crossing site by car. Drive 15mph max until you reach the site. Once at a corssing site, PROCEED BY FOOT **

Essex

Right off Route 15 in Essex, on Allen Martin Dr.

Hinesburg

When traveling north on Rt. 116 from Hinesburg, S. Brownell Rd. cuts to the right just as the road bears a hard left.

Potential Site: From Hinesburg, north on Richmond Rd, right onto Magee Hill Rd., and then right onto Sherman Hollow Rd.

Potential Site: Enos Rd. off Richman Rd. in Hinesburg

Huntington

Near the Richmond-Huntington Border, along Gillet Pond off Gillette Pond Rd. / Wes White Hill

Shelburne

Near Shelburne Pond, the stretch of Pond Rd. (the one in Shelburne, not Hinesburg) which has no homes on it.

South Burlington

Spear St. between Songbird Lane and Swift St.

Westford

Old Stage Rd. near the large beaver pond & wetland area
